Intern Challenge Celebration Cruise

Celebrate the creativity, innovation, and hard work of this year’s Intern Challenge teams aboard a special evening cruise with Light the Hoan.

Designed for interns, their families, friends, coworkers, and company supporters, this one-of-a-kind experience offers the best view in Milwaukee as we celebrate the incredible work of this year’s participants.

As we cruise through Milwaukee’s waterways, a Light the Hoan team member will share the stories behind each custom bridge lighting, highlighting the inspiration, creativity, and collaboration that brought every team’s vision to life. Watch as the Hoan Bridge becomes a canvas for each organization’s light show before the night concludes with an unforgettable drone show and fireworks display over the harbor.

Whether you’re cheering on your favorite intern, supporting your organization, or simply looking for a memorable summer evening on the water, this celebration showcases the power of innovation, community, and the next generation of leaders.

Cruise Highlights

• 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM scenic evening cruise

• Exclusive viewing of the Intern Challenge Hoan Bridge light shows

• Live narration from a Light the Hoan representative sharing the story behind each team’s design

• Spectacular drone show over Milwaukee’s lakefront

• Fireworks finale

• Full cashless bar available onboard featuring beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks

A full bar will be available for the duration of the cruise featuring beer, wine, soft drinks, and mixed drinks. 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH FOR ON-BOARD PURCHASES. ONLY CREDIT AND DEBIT WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE BAR. ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED ON BOARD.

*In order to proceed with this special event, we do require a minimum number of ticketed guests at least 72 hours in advance. If we are unable to meet that minimum, we will contact each guest via supplied phone number and email.

**Milwaukee River Cruise Line does not guarantee specific boats for public cruises. Due to the configuration of the vessel which allows for guests to move about and enjoy all areas, we do not guarantee chairs in the interior of the vessel for each passenger.
